If you ever have a hankering for a donut (or two) while in Philadelphia, I highly recommend checking out Federal Donuts. There are several locations and I stopped by the one on 2nd street. Their menu is simple, but boasts an assortment of unusual flavors like strawberry lavender and guava poppy. When you order from the “HOT FRESH” menu, they make it (you guessed it!) hot and fresh. The donuts are light, fresh, and flavorful. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in Philly!
